The 100 Mile Thanksgiving Dinner
Since Green Living is all the rage and
really should be....
Try having a 100 mile Thanksgiving Dinner.
What, you might ask, is a 100 mile Thanksgiving?
Well, it's based on The Hundred Mile Diet:
Eat fish, meat, vegies, fruit...everything that is grown, raised within 100 miles of your home. Less fuel, energy used and thus, a greener planet.
Look at The Daily Green for Five different U.S. Region 100 mile Thanksgivings.
Try to find someone who locally raises turkey
or switch to chicken. Go to LOCAL HARVEST to find farms in YOUR Area.
